Overview of Concept • Military Problem • Future Joint environment increasingly complicated, uncertain, and dynamic • Adversarial asymmetric strategies and proliferation of WMD will stress the force • Integration of joint, federal agencies, state organizations, and coalition partners presents challenges • Human and technical connectivity inadequately optimizes operational effectiveness and efficiency • Scope The net-centric environment includes human and technical connectivity and interoperability from the first tactical mile to the reach-back connectivity between the joint operational force and the strategic community. This revision will build upon the JNO concept for the next 10-20 years.

Overview of Concept • Proposed Solution • Capitalize on the DOTMLPF solutions from the JNO Functional Solution Analyzes (FSAs) • Integrate more information about Knowledge Management • Analyze the necessity for non-DoD interoperability with Joint Forces • Compose a plan that has community by-in • Utilize the Joint Capabilities Area concept
