The #InMyScrubs Challenge, started by a group of New Yorkers who wanted to see people take the global situation more seriously and help healthcare workers, challenges people to post a photo to Instagram in their scrubbiest look at home, tag five friends to do the same, then donate to the campaign’s GoFundMe, 100% of which buys meals for healthcare workers from local restaurants such as The Little Beet. Healthy, Wholesome Food The Little Beet was the first of the totally gluten free restaurants NYC has to offer. They source locally with trusted farms and purveyors to ensure high-quality ingredients that taste great and will make you feel great. It’s wholesome, healthy food that is delicious without being pretentious. They offer vegetable-forward bowls full of goodness that you can either create yourself or choose from a chef bowl. Chef bowls include yuzu salmon poke, or butternut squash soup poured over roasted chicken and basmati rice with sautéed greens and super seeds, topped by a chimichurri sauce. You can find The Little Beet locations in Virginia, Florida, NYC, New Jersey, and Washington, DC. If you’re trying to find the best gluten free New York City Restaurants, The Little Beet is it.
