  2. Where to find optimal resume website link? • GotoMyASU->Campus Services tab->SunDevilCareerLink • On this page, scroll down, you will see Optimal Resume website link. • New user-> Register yourself • Else click on-> Existing Users to login

  3. Document center After you login, you are directed to the Document Center page. You can create your resumes, cover letters, create assessments, practice Interviews And create your own websites to direct employers to show your portfolio of work.

  4. Create a new resume Under the resumes, click on create new resume option. You can name your resume and then start resume. Note: Optimal Resume does not allow to modify the uploaded resume. Upload your resume when, you need to submit to the Peer career coaches to review it.

  5. Create your resume To create your resume, you can: Samples: Use existing samples and modify according to your resume. Section sets: Select relevant sections for resume and add your content. Start from scratch

  6. Resume : Browse samples

  7. Resume: Select a sample to start

  8. Resume: “Use this sample”

  9. Resume: Start editing resume Now start editing the resume. Please note: do not use this sample directly/copy paste same contents. Please add your own content to reflect your skills and experience. This is just a sample.

  10. Resume: Edit resume Click on the section which you want to edit, it will become highlighted.

  11. Resume: Edit resume The section appears this way after you click on it.

  12. Resume: Edit resume Start editing your contents. We have examples to help you start.

  13. Resume: Examples- edit resume You can add these examples to your resume, and then edit them.

  14. Resume improvement options Options to style your resume – change format, spacing, linings, font etc. Options to format the header. Can add and delete sections, reorder the sections. Tools to help build good resume: Resume tips, samples, video tutorials, list of action verbs etc.

  15. Resume: Submit to review center It would take around 2 days for the reviewer to review, give comments to your resume.

  17. Interview section • Click on the Interview section in document center. • Practice giving interviews. Ability to record and video tape yourself and improve your interview skills. • Different types of questions to practice with example answers.
