  6. Two year campaign Phase 1: Focus on knowledge and awareness • Recognising the signs of dementia and getting checked out Phase 2: Focus on attitudes and behaviour • Challenging stigma and gaining acceptance Mini campaigns: support after diagnosis, power of attorney

  7. What is a dementia friendly city? A place: • in which it is possible for the greatest number of people with dementia to live a good life, independently as possible and to continue to be part of their community • where they are met with understanding and given support where necessary.
