  2. Ch. 1-3 • Independently read chapters 1-3 of Part III. Pages 231-259. • When you’re done, in Pages write a paragraph. • Based on the evidence in Part III Chapter 3, is Princess Dragomiroff guilty of the crime. • Use 2 details from the story and 1 quote to support your opinion. ICE your quote. • You must have a topic sentence and concluding sentence. • Remember to share with mmohr@mypanthers.org. • If you do not finish, it is homework. If you don’t have internet at home, complete your assignment in Pages, and copy into Google Drive tomorrow morning, then share it with me.

While Finishing the Book • Why did the author tell the story by moving from one person’s testimony to the next? • Why does Poirot choose to tell the authorities a different story at the end? • Think back through the entire novel, identify the moment when Agatha Christie first revealed the potential ending to the novel. Identify that moment and explain how it connects to the ending. • Why was the character of Cyrus Hardman created? Could the story have survived without his character?
