  2. Outside InstructionalSupports Activity (Jacqui) Along with City Year, you may have multiple stakeholders that directly interact with students to assist instruction. Directions: Step #1—At your table, brainstorm all the external supports that work in your building that assist instruction. Step #2—Identify a person to share your list with the whole group.

  6. Closing—Brainstorming Strategies (Jacqui) Directions • Respond to the following prompt individually and discuss as a table: • “If you have a non-teacher working with students in the classroom, what three things can they do to support meaningful instruction?” • Record the best three strategies on the strip of paper (provided).
