Other Programs Available … • Russellville Area Technology Center Programs: • Accounting & Finance • Drafting • Electricity Technology • Health Sciences (State Registered Nursing Assistant) • Information Technology (CISCO) • Office Technology • Welding Technology • Machine Tool Technology • Automotive Technology • Students completing a series of courses and passing an Industry Certified Test receive Industry Certifications upon completion.

Articulation Agreements… • A student enrolled in a Career & Technical Program may earn college credit if they meet the Articulation Agreement guidelines. • Articulation Agreements in place for: • Agriculture Education • Family & Consumer Science Education • Russellville Area Technology Center Programs

What Can You Do Now… • Explore Careers and decide on a field you would be interested in. • Take classes relating to your chosen career interest. • Plan out your four years of secondary education. • Research post secondary institution requirements and begin a foundation toward these requirements.

What Can You Do Now… • As parents, stay involved in your child’s education. • Talk to your child about their interests. • Assist with ILP on-line completion. • Attend parent/teacher conferences. • Expect to see progress and grade reports. • View your child’s grades through Infinite Campus (on-line). • Establish a channel of communication with teachers. • If you see your child’s grades going down, get involved asap. • Encourage your child to attend make-up & help sessions. • Encourage your child to participate in C&T Student Organizations (FFA, FCCLA, FBLA, HOSA, DECA)

  8. Why plan as a freshman? • To meet the needed course requirements for a Career Cluster. • Some classes are grade level specific. • If attending the Russellville Area Technology Center, you need to have three or four elective class slots available in that years schedule to attend. • Four slots – attend in the morning. • Three slots – attend in the afternoon. • Need to pass all required graduation classes to ensure that sufficient slots are available to attend RATC.
