Overview • Signed February 22, 2012 • Act implements key Administrative priorities • Relocation of D-Block to Public Safety • Develop National Public Safety Broadband Network • Giveback of Public Safety Spectrum (T-Band) • Funding • $7 Billion to build out network (Future Auctions) • $135 Million for State & Local implementation with 20% match • $300 Million for research & development • $115 Million for Next Generation 9-1-1
