The Elves That Lived In Ohio!. Once upon a time, about ten years ago there was a little elf named Elfie and Alfie who worked in Santa’s workshop making teddy bears and toy cars!.

Once upon a time, about ten years ago there was a little elf named Elfie and Alfie who worked in Santa’s workshop making teddy bears and toy cars!
It was Christmas Eve and Santa and all of his reindeer were ready to go out to deliver the toys to all the little boys and girls!
But at that moment he remembered he would need two little helpers because he ate too many cookies last Christmas and would need some help eating all of them!
And guess who he picked! He picked little Elfie and Alfie! So the little elves climbed into his sleigh with the help of the other Elves and they were off!
They first went to Africa, and of course Elfie helped him eat the cookies and Alfie helped Santa get down the chimney. First they headed to Europe and Asia! Then off to Australia, then to South America and Antarctica!
As they were making their landing on one of the houses near St. Charles Elfie and Alfie were looking at all the lights and fell out of the sleigh and got lost in the snow!
And Santa looked and looked for them but they were so small that he couldn’t find them! He even had Rudolf help look for him because his nose could help! But they were no where to be found! So the sad Santa got on his sleigh with the reindeer!
Elfie and Alfie finally found her way out of the snow and saw all of these huge people walking around outside! Santa had earlier told them that these tall giants were called humans!
So the freezing Elfie went up to house and knocked on the door while Alfie stayed behind. A giant answered! So in her shaking voice she said “can we please stay with you? we fell out of Santa’s sleigh and he left.” The woman at the door answered “yes”
In the house she met the family. There was the dad the mom and two kids named John and Kit! Kit had gotten one of the bears she had made early in Santa’s Workshop! And John had gotten the toy cars Alfie had made!
So the next day after Christmas Elfie and Alfie had gotten their own room in the house! In her room she got right to work!
She went to the store and got some fabric and some cotton, went straight home and started making her teddy bears! Alfie on the other hand had gotten some scrap metal and paint that they had around the house!
A couple of months went by and they were making toys in their rooms for Kit and John along with all of their friends!
Finally it was December and John and Kit were celebrating something they called Advent! Elfie and Alfie had never heard such a thing! So Kit and John had to explain to them what they did and what it was for. But after church it was time for Kit and John to go to bed so Santa would come!
Elfie and Alfie fell asleep on the couch, but suddenly they heard a big thud! IT WAS SANTA! They waiting at the bottom of the chimney and when he came they all reunited giving each other big hugs and sharing the cookies!
It was time for Santa and the elves to leave! So Elfie went to put a teddy bear on Kit’s bed and Alfie went to go put new cars in John’s toy chest! They wrote a note goodbye and said that they would miss them and said they would return next year for Christmas!
