  5. Numbers and Co-Op Need • First year eligible: CG=9 WB=19 Total=28 • First year goalies: CG=1 WB=1 • Second year eligible: CG=9 WB=12 Total=21 • Second year goalies: CG=1 • Woodbury signups by June 8 = 16 total 1 goalie • CG signups begin in July • History shows few 2nd year U14 players return

  6. Coaching Selection • Apply, score, select for interview • Interview, score, select for position • Selection team is evenly weighted for CG and WB • Coaches will be involved in tryout process

  7. Preseason Camp • 6 weeks beginning the week of September 5 • Runs through MEA weekend • Weeks 1 and 2: dryland training (3) and on-ice (1) • Weeks 3 and 4: skating and skills (3) and dryland (1) • Weeks 5 and 6: flow and situational (3), and dryland (1)

  8. Tryouts • U14 tryouts will likely be held before HS tryouts • Results will be sealed • Teams selected based on those players remaining with U14 • Evaluations will be done jointly by CG and W personnel • Tryout cost is TBD • If there is ANY chance of playing U14, must attend tryout

  9. Tournaments • All WB and CG teams locked for Duluth(Jan) • U14A locked for Sweetheart (Feb) • U14 A locked for Edina (Nov) • U14B locked for Centennial (Dec) • Club pays for 3, others optional
