Best Practice (Outreach)Girl Scout Super Science Event • Met up with local girl scout troops around Halloween • Approximately 250 girl scouts participated • Performed “spooky” experiments in two of the six stations • Partnered up with SDSMT Chemistry department • Showed a total of six experiments

University of Notre Dame College of Engineering Best Practice - Recruitment Summer Mailing • 3 sent over course of summer • Sent to every incoming female engineering student • Offers information on engineering & ND, gives advice, & attempts to lessen anxiety • Keeps us in their mind all summer so larger turnout at our welcome event during orientation
