  3. Introduction DuetoGlobalization, industriesaroundtheworldhavebeenincreasing. All of thisgrowthcarries more production of organic and inorganicgarbage. A greatamount of thisgarbageisleftonthestreets, orthrownintothe seas, etc. Peopleallovertheglobeshouldknow and understandthereasons and effectsthatgarbageonstreetsbrings.

  4. Causes Garbageonstreetsincreasesdueto: • Peopledroppinggarbageonthestreets. • Drivers discardinggarbageout of theirwindows. • Householdrefusedisposal and collection. • Lack of values and education. • Intentionalor habitual littering (laziness) • Sometimes, duetothelack of trashcans.

Effects / Consequences • The ozone layer will become more damaged. • Climate changes will occur - Warm temperatures will rise • Diseases • Air pollution • Natural disasters • Animals will die • Garbage damage our waterways. • Garbage negatively affect its the image of places, especially tourist locations. • Garbage costs money.

  6. The 3R • Reduce: use less disposableproducts. • Reuse: manythings can beused more than once orbyotherpeople, share withothers. • Recycle: at home separateinorganictrashfromtheorganic. Findoutaboutrecyclingprograms in yourcommunity.

  10. Actions • Wemaderecycling bags • Wemadesome boxes and placed them in Molina Plaza – Plaza Vea forrecycling. • Wemade posters to paste at school and Molina Plaza.

  11. Conclusions To preventhavinggarbageonstreetspeopleshould : • beinformedaboutthisissue. • use more cansproperlyifprovided. • Peopleshouldtaketheirgarbage home aftervisitingparks, gardens, etc. • Peopleshouldalwaystake a pick – up – bag whenwalkingtheirdogs.
