Talking of revolution, we got to admit that the technologies and inventions have been playing crucial roles to make the revolution happen. • We are going to have an insight about how such revolutionary technology is changing the face of architectural industry and it is hologram technology.

  4. Before, getting deeper into the topic, let’s understand the basics of hologram. Hologram is a three dimensional image of the holographed object which gets reflected through beams with the variations in the light field.  • Like scene in many Hollywood flicks, it reflects set of moving images which seem extremely realistic. Though hologram is not a recent discovery, its applicability in various fields can certainly prove innovative. • Now imagine that, if the same technology meets the architectural modeling. What happen next is something similar to mind boggling. Well, you don’t have to imagine even, as the matter is actually taking place in architectural world severally.

  5. This phenomenal synchronization is not going to enhance the designing approach of architecture discipline; it will turn the modeling upside down. Though BIM technology offers brilliant peace of modeling, but when comes to hologram technology, when you can see the entire model out of the small screen and feel that, it makes a huge difference. • There are certain plugins available over the internet, by which Revit user can transfer a Revit-native format file, into the stipulated format for printing holographic model which contains three dimensional views. Currently, the process is restricted to a limited class of users as, still there are lots modifications to be applied.

  6. Projecting hologram visuals can literally bring the viewers in a whole new world along with providing a lifelike experience. Any complex design can be observed from any angle flexibly and can be reached out to the micro element lies inside the model. This technology has the potential to redefine the level of detailing for architectural modeling.
