Bill Clinton’s Representation • “Success is not the measure of a man but a triumph over those who choose to hold him back.” Bill Clinton Quote • This quote could relate to the measurement of class, it is not your class that holds you back or yourself, its triumphing over those who hold you back such as the bourgeoisie (Upper class) • Representation: Expensive suits-wealthy Well dressed-affords a stylist, looks quite wise And knowledgeable, which we assume Automatically from being a prime minister. Wouldn’t fit him to a working class stereotype at all

  4. Celebrity examples • From being working class in east London , Sir Alan sugar is now one of the most successful and wealthy British entrepreneurs. • Owns an estimated fortune of 730million and ranked 59th in The times rich list

  8. Overall.. • It shows that despite class, if people have a lot of ambition they can move up in the hierarchical structure. Examples such as Alan sugar and Audrey Hepburn prove this.
