  4. Days 1 and 2 • Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th September • On these days, we invite parents and carers to come into the classroom and to settle their child onto the carpet. • All Year 1 classes will be in the corridor where the children line up for their lunch in reception. • TA will be at the door to welcome them • Children will be collected at 3.15pm from their classroom door on the balcony

  5. Day 3 onwards… • To encourage independence Year 1 will line up in front of their teacher in the Key Stage 1 playground. The teacher will then take them into the class. • Home time will remain the same. Collect at the balcony. • Please be patient with staff when collecting your child as we won’t know everyone’s parents.

  6. Forest School • Help to settle them as it’s a familiar routine. • Jo Hinson will run this similarly to reception forest school. Parent Volunteers.

  7. Communication • If you would like to speak to us about your child then please feel free to make an appointment for after school. • Class Dojo- we will re-introduce this within the first few weeks. • Leave brief messages on the door (e.g. pick ups) • If it is about your child’s health or appointments/absence during the school day please contact the school office • School trip money to be given to school office
