Meridians of Longitude • Imaginary lines that remain at an equal distance from each other • Labeled in degrees East or West • Prime Meridian • Runs through Greenwich, in London, England • Divides earth into Eastern and Western Hemispheres • Longest line of longitude • Labeled 0 degrees, no direction
