  • During 2010 the project steering group has decided to benchmark across the fourteen specialist hospitals:

    • Clinical performance

    • Medical manpower

    • Specialist Nursing

    • AHP staffing

  • So far CER has held scoping meetings and workshop to agree definitions, data collection protocol and timelines

We asked for actual WTEs to be split into three categories and gave examples:

Patient-facing

Outpatients, home visits, ward-based work, telephone and e-contact, patient-related clinical administration, and MDT

Travel time

Non-patient-facing

Professional development, management, non-patient-related administration, teaching and audit
