Typical Freshman Schedule • English (9H, 9CP, or 9S) • Math: Algebra 2H, Geometry (H or CP), or Algebra 1 • Science: Biology (H or CP) or Geosciences (CP) • Physical Education (Athletic PE or PE 9) • World Language or Other Elective • Health/Careers & Geography or Other Elective CP and Honors Level Classes with C or better needed for four year college

Other Options for Health Class**For Students who take foreign language AND Band, ASB, Journalism, etc. Summer School (in class or online/hybrid) • June 18 - July 6 OR July 9 - July 26 • Cost is $250 Online/Hybrid during school year (space limited) • Meets once a week at 7 AM • Semester 1 or Semester 2 • No Cost • Flyers distributed with registration forms

  10. Online Health • TOHS is the ONLY school in Ventura County to offer an online course at a traditional high school setting. • This course was designed just for YOU! Benefits of Online Learning: • Independent learning and discovery • Intrinsic motivation to succeed • Work at your own pace • Work on the computer using technology • Trying something innovative • Attend in-school class one day a week • IT IS FREE!!!

  14. Keys to Success at TOHS • Homework Counts! • Do your Homework Every Night • Class grades are based on a combination of test/quizzes, HOMEWORK, and other assigned work. • Homework may account for 20 – 30 % (or more) of your grade!
