  1. National Symposium to commemorate International Women’s Week 2014 – will question and explore five critical objectives: Health & Nutrition; Education & Drop-out; Skills & Vocational Training; Science & Technology; Full & Decent Employment. The symposium is open to participants from ministries, academia, R&D and S&T based organizations, UN organizations, INGOs/NGOs working for women, industries, and media to share - public opinions, research reports, and case studies. Report and recommendations of the symposium will be published in ISBN edited volume. At the symposium, ‘National Gender Caucus’will be launched to facilitate networking across scholars, professionals, policymakers, industrialists, entrepreneurs, activists, and individuals; to recommend and impact women empowerment in India.
