Ans.Here the river Jamuna has beeen compared to a greedy person who claims everything from the other people around him.In such a way the Jamuna has gradually consumed the cultivable land, trees, house,vegetablegardenand bamboo bush of Meherjan Ans.River erosion most likely occurs in the monsoon season. Q.What do you know about Meherjan” family? Ans.OnceMeherjan had a happy family . Due to hunger and poverty caused diseases ,she lost her husband and family . Now she is all alone. Q. What will happen if we cf ail to hault climate change? Ans.There will be thousands of more Meherjans in our towns and villages every year. Summarize the passage.
