  1. Notice July 9, 2012 To: All Livingston Community Water Authority customers Re: Water Main Break and Repair Dear Customer, A leak has been found in the water main from our wells to the tower at Lee Road. The repair is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am Thursday July 12, 2012 and will take approximately 8 to 12 hours.

  2. During this repair, we will be utilizing the emergency connection with the City of Brighton. Due to reversing the flow of water, you may experience rusty or brown water. During the repair time, please refrain from the following: Do not water your lawn. Turn off all lawn sprinkler systems. Do not water gardens or flower beds. Do not add water or fill swimming pools. Do not wash your laundry. Please conserve all the water you can.

  3. For commercial users of the system while this repair is being conducted may experience alarms from their fire suppression systems due to the reversed flow of water or low pressure in the system. All area fire departments are aware of the repair and will make accommodations for emergencies. After the repair is conducted, the areas of Saxony, Wilmor, Meadows, Country Club, and the entire Lee Rd. commercial area along with the commercial users of the system in Charter Township of Brighton will be under a pre-cautionary boil water advisory for the next 72 hours.

  4. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Questions can be directed to 810-231-1333 ext. 100 or ext. 118 Respectfully, Mark St.Charles, Chairperson Livingston Community Water Authority
