  6. Tanka • TankaPoems are japanneseand they look very similar tohaikus. Theyfollow a specificpattern of syllables. • MyExample: • I once wasonThailand,itwasincrediblyexotic. So big and so natural I wasswimmingdeeply and camly

  7. Diamante • Itis a 7 line poem in diamondshapethat describes 2 nounsexploringtheiropposites. • MyExample: • Skyblue, hugeprotecting, saving, refreshingclouds, athmosphere, life, resources, comforting, living, producing, tremendous, natural, Earth

Narrative • Itis a bigpoemthattells a story. • Example 1: • ORANGES, A boytaking a walkwithhisgirlfriend & he buysher a chocolate withtwooranges. • Example 2: • THE HIGHWAYMAN, Thehighwaymangoes as usuallytosteal, but he falls in lovewith a girl. Theytakethegirl & he goestorescueher. Theybothend up killingthemselves.
