  1. The Paper’s Title Authors Author’s Institution

  2. Dear Author, • You may use this simple template to create your own presentation for ICSV21. Using the template is not required. You can use any template you wish. You may change slide master by selecting View>Master>Slide Master menu if you choose to create your own style. In any case, please check for the following items. • It is preferable if each slide contains: • - the paper’s title • - slide number • - subtitle • The first slide should contain in addition: • - list of authors, with the presenters name emphasized (underline etc.) • - Congress logo

  3. In general one shall take the followings: • Using smaller fonts than size 18 may be unreadable for the audience. • A good starting point is that one slide usually takes 1 minute to present. • Please rehearse before to check if the presentation will be within the given time limit. • Authors will be allocated 15 minutes for the oral presentations, 3 minutes will be given for the questions and answers and 2 minutes will be allowed for the change-over. • Putting too much text on a single slide may force listeners to read instead of listening to the presentation. • Using animated effects may be interesting but may also distract listeners attention. • Please check connections and technical conditions before the section starts. • Please consult with the local stuff if other requirements (audio playback, etc.) are needed for the presentations.

  4. You can either send your Powerpoint Presentation to icsv21@mail.ioa.ac.cn by email or upload your presentation at the "Upload Center" for the Congress at least a day before your presentation. • Thank you for taking time to read this guideline. • We are looking forward to welcome you to Beijing, China during July 13-17 2014 for a successful ICSV21 Congress.
