  4. THE PROJECT: ASNI HONEY PROJECT We will be contributing our time and efforts on assisting on a a community project. The Asni Honey Project is aimed at improving the lives of Asnian villagers by helping them keep beehives to produce honey for sale. The project is aimed at women in the families so that they can help the family budget, developing a more reliable and sustainable income for the future. • Reasons we chose the project: • An chance to help improve the lives of others • A fantastic opportunity to spend time in a Moroccan • community immersing ourselves in the culture • the spectacular scenery of the mountains nearby • A rewarding way to give a little back to the country we are travelling in EXPEDITION: MOROCCOOCTOBER 2012
