The Five Smartest Campaigns by Smartphone Brands The Five Smartest Campaigns by Smartphone Brands When smart phones became smarter than most of our regular acquaintances, smartphones were proudly checked off from the list of luxurious wants. To stumble up his way for the list of essential needs, but with more and more options and lesser opinions, we still got confused and actually have no idea about what to go for. Commercial campaigns, let’s be honest are of no use at most extent. But there are few talk-able advertising commercial campaigns from mobile brands that explicitly enrages and highlights on the features and points, all on which the brand itself wanted to show and flaunt. Here are some of the commercial ad campaign that were well-thought off in their own way. Some are witty some are pure gold but they all have one thing in common and that is the idea to bring their customers on same page. 1.Motorola- Motoz With its concept of taking the most clichéd word “different” and then making it count by showing what and how exactly a concept for different should look like. It talks about the invention and extreme traffic of buyers from the start of 2007 to bringing it at a present day point where all the smartphones have one or less same themes. With the name and tag of different they are all same, even the online mobile markets are bluffed by the specs of calling EVERYTHING different. URL: https://youtu.be/sb7ilVVdHNQ This was one of the smartest commercial campaign as it talk about the mainstream and cliché right on time. 2.Blackberry –The corruption of “Blackberry boys” Blackberry was smartly titled and whether they plan for it or not they were widely known for a large amount of time as “the business phone”. Even though the brand itself failed terribly to save it from drowning but they do realize the fault of their marketing technique. And to delete the concept of stocked “business phone” a new ad was produced with old themed songs and old boys dressed in black singing and dancing to “we are the blackberry boys”. What visualized this whole concept is the addition of youngsters, middle agers, uncles and aunts, all coming in to the frame one by one joining the chorus of theme song. This was an imagery depiction of them announcing that “we are open to use for everyone”. This was actually a fun rhythmic ad to watch. By the end of it you’ll be amazed by their visual and creativity of videography but the jingle will get stuck to your mind!

And how cool it is was to see two big company roasting each other on screen. With their Galaxy S8 they work with tag line, “the next big thing is already here”. Which in itself was a mimicry of Apple brand. This theme needs no more words, you just have to look for yourself. And for this they used the idea of explaining all their features shamelessly in their ad ignoring the tragedy that’s been following amidst of their paid review. But to sum it all in a mimicry and to end the commercial with “OnePlus 5, clearly the smarter choice, whatever you do with it” was genuinely gold.
