General Qualifications:
  • Must be a citizen of the Philippines
  • Must be a registered voter in the province in which he proposes to be elected
  • Must be a resident therein for at least one year at the time of the filing of his certificate of candidacy
  • Must be able to read and write Filipino, English, or any other local language or dialect.
  • Must be 23 years of age

  • Approve ordinances and pass resolutions necessary for an efficient and effective provincial government
  • Generate and maximize the use of resources and revenues for the development plans, programs of the province
