  16. MPM-TED Curriculum (12 Modules with Internship/39 Units)

Program Objectives • To equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for creating an enabling environment in support of Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) • To enable students to exercise leadership in improving governance & institutional management in the Department of Science & Technology • To increase their capacity in order to improve service delivery by the Department

  22. Program Features • Customized course. Designed to meet the DOST civil servants’ learning needs, as well as the DOST’s institutional development goals & requirements. • Coherent & progressive curriculum. Learnings from the courses build on each other.

  23. Program Features • Experienced Faculty. Faculty members are experienced from serving in and for government. • Practitioner-oriented teaching methodology. Teaching methods consider the students’ experiences.

  24. Program Features • Student-centered. A learning environment that is centered on the students and not on the teacher. • Governance Innovation Report: Policy Paper, Strategy Paper or Action Plan with Internship. The students immediately apply what they have learned in the MPM-TED program to address a problem or need of a client (DOST/Stakeholders).

  25. Program Features • Reflective approach to learning. • Small class size. Allows for active discussion between faculty and students, and among students. • Degree is completed in 14 months.
