  2. Pengertian Microphone array Microphone array merupakanprosespenyaluransuaradenganmenggunakanbanyakmikropon yang penempatanletaknyaberbeda-beda. Keuntungandaripenggunaan microphone array adalahmemungkinkanpenggunauntukterbebasdaripenggunaanmikropon yang harusdibawakemana-mana (hands-free), Menghasilkansuara yang bersih yang terbebasdarigangguandanjugamenghasilkansuara yang nyaring.

Contoh Array Microphone - Sistemuntukpengolahansuaradari ambient noise (telephones, speech recognition systems, hearing aids) - Surround sound dan related technologies - Penentuanlokasiobjekdengansuara : acoustic source localization, biasanyadigunakanolehmiliteruntukmenentukanlokasisumberdaripasukanmeriam, tracking lokasipesawatinduk. - Untuk tracking objekpada robot.
