  2. Reviews from Yelp and local news papers. “If I had gone to some event that wasn't sold out, I'm sure my experience would be totally different. But the event I happened to attend was sold out. I don't feel that the staff or the venue are prepared to handle that many attendees. It took us 40 minutes to just get in the door! (we didn't have to check any bags, thank goodness)Once we did get in, there wasn't really much difference when it came to actually getting to our seats. When it came to walking around during the intermissions, forget about it. Once you leave your section, the crowd just comes to a complete stop, and people just give up and go back to their seats. Now, it might sound like I'm just not used to these kinds of sporting events or venues, but no. I am. I've seen my share of games elsewhere. Nowhere near this disorganized and chaotic.I need to go see a Cal game with a slightly more modest crowd, and my perspective might change. Until then, this is all I've got to go by.” Event Check Services LLC sales@eventcheckservices.com 480-318-5347 10145 E Double Tree Ranch Rd Scottsdale AZ 85258

  3. Reviews from Yelp and local newspapers. “The Real Madrid v. Inter organizers really screwed up choosing this venue over Levi's Stadium or Stanford Stadium. They obviously took the low bid to maximize their profit, but they did soccer in the US a disservice by choosing such a woefully inadequate venue at which to charge $100+ per ticket to watch a friendly soccer match. This place may work fine for students attending college athletics, but it is not cut out for professional sports. I get that the place is old, but there's charming old and there's crappy old, and this place is crappy old.The Cal website for the event mentioned a shuttle from the BART station, but nothing about needing a ticket for said shuttle. Fine, no big deal, we still had plenty of time to walk up the hill from the BART station. Or so we thought, until we reached the stadium where there were dangerously packed masses of people waiting literally an hour to get into the stadium. Anyone who knows soccer had to have been thinking of the trampling disasters that mar soccer history. Instead of doing anything about this obvious safety hazard the few stadium staffers were spending their time harassing women with purses and cluelessly trying to get their barcode ticket scanners to work.Fifteen minutes into the match the stands were still half-empty with all of the people stuck outside. Even within the stadium there were fifteen-minute long lines just to get down an aisle. And anyone who went to the "facilities" aka porta potties at halftime got to miss the first ten minutes of the second half too after all of the waiting to get up the aisle, into the toilet, and back down the aisle.Even the scoreboard operator and announcer were pretty clueless, with such gaffes as getting the names wrong for yellow cards, initially starting the clock at 0:00 after halftime, not keeping the clock running during stoppage time, not clearly showing the penalty kick status after the match went to penalty kicks, and showing the final score as 2-1 instead of the correct 1-1 (3-2).Overall a very poor showing.” Event Check Services LLC sales@eventcheckservices.com 480-318-5347 10145 E Double Tree Ranch Rd Scottsdale AZ 85258

  4. Reviews from Yelp and local newspapers. “1. Went to the Real Madrid/InterMilan game yesterday, but missed the first 20 minutes (I was lucky!), even though the Bart train pulled in about an hour before the game start.Pathetically disorganized, ignorant, and undermanned event staff. No signs or directions explaining what gate to go in.  A few people telling people where to go would have made a huge difference. Basically all the event staff were in slow motion, or helping people one at a time. Ridiculous security measures which are totally unnecessary.  They are lucky no one got hurt with the massive crowds waiting at Gates 1 and 2.  I will never go to an event at this stadium again.” Event Check Services LLC sales@eventcheckservices.com 480-318-5347 10145 E Double Tree Ranch Rd Scottsdale AZ 85258

  5. Reviews from Yelp and local newspapers. “If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. We attended the Real Madrid and Inter Milan game. The actual event, fans, and concessions were good, BUT (And a HUGE but) logistics were a nightmare even considering 68,000+ in attendance. They should have cops directing traffic instead of cars being backed up by traffic lights. My husband was sweet enough to drop two of us off, but then I had to wait in line for bag check- Where they would give you a number and throw your bag into a pile (imagine my shock since my purse didn't have a zipper). After 20 mins in line, security gave up and allowed us to bring our bags in. The people that had checked their bags and/or waited in that line were more than frustrated- why wouldn't they say no bags allowed on either the website or when you bought the tickets?  15 minutes into the game there were still lines out the door to get into the stadium. Next time, if there is a next time, at this stadium we'll show up 4 to 6 hours in advance. Ridiculous!” Event Check Services LLC sales@eventcheckservices.com 480-318-5347 10145 E Double Tree Ranch Rd Scottsdale AZ 85258

  6. Reviews from Yelp and local newspapers. “If I could give negative stars, I would. My experience at the Inter Milan v. Real Madrid game this past Saturday was beyond pathetic. We showed up over an hour early, parked a mile away (streets were totally packed) and hiked in. When we arrived, the gates were completely clogged with a dangerous number of people, not nearly enough ticket takers, and very slow moving lines. When we finally arrived at the front of the line (5 min before the start), we were informed for the VERY FIRST TIME that no purses were allowed in the stadium!!! This information was not printed on the tickets, was absent from the Cal website, and was also missing from the large signs that listed prohibited items in front of each gate. My sister & I were told to stand in an hour long line (not kidding!) to check our purses before we could go in. This would basically have made us miss more than half the game, our purses would be completely insecure (there were thousands of purse piled up together), and we'd be stuck in a two hour line to retrieve them after the game! Ridiculous! Because of this horrific mismanagement, I made the very sucky decision to leave the game with both purses so at least she could watch it. I got burned on my ticket, which cost over $100, because of this stupid, last minute rule change by the idiots in charge at Cal. Only to find out that because so many people were upset by this rule, they began letting people in with their bags. I found this out after I was already on a bus to the BART station! I am very angry that my ticket went to waste & will never attend any event at Cal stadium again.” Event Check Services LLC sales@eventcheckservices.com 480-318-5347 10145 E Double Tree Ranch Rd Scottsdale AZ 85258

  7. Reviews from Yelp and local newspapers. “Came to this stadium for the first time today for the Inter Milan vs. Real Madrid soccer game. I have never attended a more disorganized and poorly planned event in my entire life. This was clearly not just the wrong choice of venue for this size event it was the absolute WORST choice in venue. Cal Employees were lazy and had no clue where to direct people. We paid over $100 for our tickets read all information only to find out upon arrival the purses were now not going to be allowed in the stadium. We were then directed to another gate and the told we actually needed to go across the street to wait in a mile long line for an hour (no exaggeration) to check in my purse at a hole on the wall bag check. With all the day's chaos did they really expect me to trust that with all the thousands of bags that were being checked they were going to be able to keep track of mine? Yeah right! To top it all off by the time we were just steps away from checking our bags, they made an announcement that now, bags were allowed in! The lines getting into the gates were beyond congested there were nowhere near enough ticket takers, many of whom did not have functioning ticket scanners. When I finally got in after going through a handicap line and having no one even look at my purse, the first half of the game was pretty much over and walking to our seats was practically impossible, never mind the extreme safety hazard from ppl walking all over each other to get up and down the stairs. Never again will I attend an event at this establishment. Berkeley prides themselves on being a prestigious organization, but today they looked like a bunch of clueless amateurs. They may want to reach out to the folks at Stanford for pointers on how to handle an event of this magnitude, because they obviously have no clue!” Event Check Services LLC sales@eventcheckservices.com 480-318-5347 10145 E Double Tree Ranch Rd Scottsdale AZ 85258

  9. Reviews from Yelp and local newspapers. • “Great to have the event in Berkeley but it was the most unorganized event I have ever been to. Half the people didn't get in until halftime because so few people were checking tickets. No where on the ticket did it say what entry gate should be used. It is unfortunate that football games aren't as impressive and everyone shows up not at the same time. • Also there were no announcers or info on which players were even on the field. For all the money that was made on a sellout with expensive tickets I would expect more. • So who did actually make all the money???? Ronaldo in his bikini thong back on the beach in Portugal??? • Missed the Bale goal, the lone highlight....still glad I went and hope to see more in the future...” Event Check Services LLC sales@eventcheckservices.com 480-318-5347 10145 E Double Tree Ranch Rd Scottsdale AZ 85258

  10. Reviews from Yelp and local newspapers. • “Sarah • 15 days agoCal did a HORRIBLE job of managing the event. I've been a football season ticket holder for about 10 years and I have a lot of experience at the stadium. That being said, I've never had to deal with so much ridiculousness. • 1. The gates opened at 1:30pm. My party and I arrived at 1:45 and only Main Gate and one gate on the left side of the stadium were open. The lines were extremely long and the area was absolutely packed. When we tried to walk around to gate 7 by going up a side street, we were turned around and directed back to the main gate. We ended up cutting through the parking lot next to I-House and going in through gate 5. It was open, but because of a bunch of gates that were put up, there wasn't much room. Security finally ended up removing the gates/barricades and allowing people to enter through gate 5. For an event where over 62,000 tickets were sold, this was unsafe and unacceptable. All gates should have been open. Had there been any sort of emergency, people would have been trampled. • 2. Nowhere on the tickets did it say that purses were not allowed into the event. It said "no backpacks." There were no announcements being made to people in line, so most women had to get all the way to the front in order to find out they had to turn around, walk to the I-House, and stand in another crazy long line to check their bags. The tickets should have a size listed on the ticket. Many of the employees were extremely stressed out and were yelling at attendees because the women were questioning them. The employees were left to eyeball what was acceptable and this led to inconsistencies that were picked up on quickly by everyone in line. • 3. The woman checking my friends ticket scanned it twice. I watched her. It beeped once, then she did it again. She then told my friend that she couldn't enter because her ticket had already been used. When we tried to explain what happened, she started yelling and screaming at my friend. It was ridiculous. When a supervisor came to talk to us, she told us that this happens sometimes and that it wasn't a big deal. This could be solved if the scanning devices could show the time of each ticket scan.” Event Check Services LLC sales@eventcheckservices.com 480-318-5347 10145 E Double Tree Ranch Rd Scottsdale AZ 85258

  11. Reviews from Yelp and local newspapers. • “Completely_SeriousSarah • 15 days ago I might add that we brought some empty water bottles to fill up at the water fountains. We were forced to either throw them out or stand in an hour long line at I-House to check them. We tossed them and had to pay $5 for a bottle of water. Tickets said, "No large containers." • Mrs. Serious was told she couldn't bring her small bag in (with id, car keys, money, chapstik and sunscreen for Serious Junior I and Serious Junior II. So she just walked to a different gate and was let in.” Event Check Services LLC sales@eventcheckservices.com 480-318-5347 10145 E Double Tree Ranch Rd Scottsdale AZ 85258
