  1. Who Deserves to Have Control of Gun Laws: State or Federal? Zach Wilcox Dr. Marquard English 1060

  2. Are the states in need of stricter laws?

  3. Can the federal government really lower gun violence?

  4. Reasons to use both state and federal levels of government for gun control • Mass shootings that have taken place in states that need stricter gun control • The federal government’s inability to protect every states individual need • The states are not strict enough on gun laws, which causes gun violence to increase

  5. Mass shootings Mass shootings affect everyone and need to be stopped to protect America. With both governments going towards a common goal America will be safer

  6. Every state is different • All 50 states are unique, some need stricter gun control while others like Alaska, who don’t have too many gun control problems, need loose gun laws to function properly. With a combination of both governments working together the federal level can set a guideline while the states create stricter or looser laws based on their need.
