  3. Interdisciplinary task force • Discussions of ethical issues • Learning together • Planning and assessing courses (competencies) • Invite each other to our classes Juan P. Beca

Sharing the course with a theologian • Lawyer provides link with professional reality • Leads the discussion of professional issues • Links with other subjects students should know • Theologian knows ethical theory (moral philosophy) • Gives “the view of the citizen” • Catholic view AS AN INVITATION • New teaching techniques Juan P.   5. It has been a process • We’ve learned over the years • Students and teachers reported the course was far from reality • Last year they report the course helps the to view ethics as something not far from real life Juan P. Beca

  6. Difficulties • Prejudice of a religious view • Students don’t like teachers that are not from “their” profession Juan P. Beca

  7. Relevant findings • SEE – JUDGE – ACT methodology • Need to do research, reflect on the experience Juan P. Beca
