  4. The Voyageur Way – What is it? The Voyageur Way is a positive, proactive way to look at behavior. You (the student) are given a clear set of expectations. The expectations are taught, modeled, then practiced (hey, just like school!) You receive kudos (Voyageur Vouchers) for positive behaviors. Cool huh?!?

  5. National Anthem • Star Spangled Banner, written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key • Symbol of freedom and honors the United States of America • Show respect when it is performed by standing, removing headwear and facing the flag

  6. Universal Expectations • Be Safe • Be Respectful • Be Responsible

  7. Be Safe • Walk in the building

  8. Be Respectful • Keep hands, feet, and objects to self • Include others • Positive comments only • Respect all staff and students • Follow the dress code

  9. Be Responsible • Pick up after yourself • Use appropriate voice level and language • Treat school property with care • Be on time • Power down and store all electronic devices in locker

  10. Assemblies • Be Safe • Stay seated • Be Respectful • Allow others to learn • Participate with respect • Applause only • Be attentive to the speaker • Be Responsible • Enter and exit in an orderly manner
