Archipelago

Chain or group of islands clustered together in a large body of water.


Channel
CHANNEL

A body of water connecting two larger bodies of water.


Delta
Delta

Land formed at the mouth of a river. It is formed from the silt, sand and small rocks that flow down stream in the river and are deposited in the delta.


Desert
Desert

An area of little rain fall, extreme temperatures, and little vegetation.


Island
Island

Land completely surrounded by water.


Isthmus
Isthmus

A narrow strip of land connecting two larger land masses.
