  2. El Sistema Respiratorio Las Neumoconiosis Las neumoconiosis son las enfermedades pulmonares secundarias causadas por inhalación de polvos orgánicos o partículas de carbón que conllevan inflamación del tejido pulmonar.

  3. CAUSAS Las neumoconiosis son el producto de la inhalación en cantidad suficiente durante un tiempo prolongado, de polvos inorgánicos u orgánicos. Estos producen una reacción del tejido pulmonar que lleva a fibrosis y a alteraciones en la función respiratoria

  4. SIGNOS YSÍNTOMAS • DISNEA • TOS • ANOREXIA • DOLOR TORÁCICO • INSOMNIO • TAQUICARDIA • ASTENIA • PÉRDIDA DE PESO • ESTERTORES • CIANOSIS • TOS CON ESPECTORACIÓN • HEMOPTISIS • FIEBRE • HIPOTENSIÓN ARTERIAL

  5. MEDIOS DE DIAGNOSTICO • radiografía de  tórax es le medio por le que generalmente se establece la sospecha diagnostica. • El  TAC • La Gammagrafía con Galio 67 • El diagnóstico de certeza,

  6. TRATAMIENTO No hay ningún tratamiento específico y eficaz para las neumoconiosis . Se recomienda evitar la exposición posterior al polvo. Una vez establecido el daño, este es irreversible, y el único tratamiento posible es el de soporte, que pretende aliviar los síntomas. Pueden administrarse inhaladores para intentar mejorar la función respiratoria. Algunas neumoconiosis producidas por polvos orgánicos pueden responder al tratamiento corticoides.
