  1. Narrative “Text” . . . What does it say? How does the film say it? Part 1: Provide 4 descriptions of different events/ scenes, in the film, where SUSPENSE was created. Part 2: Then, beneath each description, EXPLAIN HOW it was suspenseful and WHY. Summarize the film, Disturbia. Include all main events identified on your Flow Map (this will note the elements of a plot diagram and work through the action). Be fluent and concise. What does it mean? So . . . What does it mean to me? Part 1: What lesson might you take away from the film, Disturbia? Explain using (at least 2) direct examples from the film. Part 2: How does the element of suspense relate to irony? How do these two things work together? Use and explain 1 direct example from the film. Make a connection with Kale. How can you understand his behavior? Are you able to “put yourself in his shoes?” Why or why not?
