  7. Size of Events In terms of size, events may be categorised as follows; • Mega-events • Regional Events • Major Events • Minor Events

  8. Types of Events • Sporting • Entertainment, arts and culture • Commercial marketing and promotional event • Meeting and exhibitions • Festivals • Fundraising

  9. The Event Team The event team could include any or all of the following; • Venue Managers • Stage Managers • Lighting, audio and video companies • Decorators and florists • Entertainers • Rental companies • Catering companies • Security companies
