Task force on travel funding

Task Force on Travel Funding

Taskforce Goals:

  • Increase V-Fund Principal

    • $9,495 surplus rolled into principal. (Per last month’s budget vote.)

    • Increased activity fee: .01% (approximately $1). SGS and Finance office are putting the process in place. We’ll know the amount soon after add / drop.

  • How to use increased revenues from V-Fund?

    • Task force to draft a proposal after we know how much budget increased.

    • Suggestions or concerns? Contact Ray: [email protected]

  • Create new sources of funding.

    • Meeting with development office to discuss fundraising and outreach.

“ Despite posting no notice of the change, this summer Case Western Reserve University agreed to a deal with Bon Appétit which made the food management company the exclusive food provider for the new Tinkham Veale University Center as well as the spaces they took over, The Spot and Rough Rider Room.”
