  3. A multi-instrumentalist, Lenny is credited as playing most all of the music on his albums. Singer, guitar, bass, guitar, drums and keyboards, as well as producer.

  4. - Early on in Lenny’s musical career he went by the moniker “Romeo Blue”..- Only a month after shopping the recordings five major labels wanted to sign Lenny. Virgin Records subsequently signed him in 1989.- In 1985 Lenny met famed “Cosby Show” actress Lisa Bonet. Two years later the two were married. Much of his music early on was inspired by their relationship.

  7. Lenny’s second album, “Mama Said” was released in 1991. It featured his most successful hit of his career, “It Ain’tOver Till Its Over”, which reached number 2 on Billboards hot 100.

  8. In 1993 Lenny’s first breakout rock single “Are You Going To Go My Way”, reached number 12 on the Billboard 200

  9. Lenny set a record by winning four straight Grammy awards for "best male rock vocal performance” from 1999 to 2002.The video below “Again”, won him a Grammy in 2001.

  10. Lenny not being afraid of tackling racial issues still facing us today, released his latest album entitled “Black And White America”, featuring the title track below.

His biggest hit which reached #2 on the billboard charts in 1991 was “it ain’t over till its over”.
