Reasons For Partnership • MISS YU is an organization that has exclusive contracts giving it the right to organize official beauty pageants and proclaim the legitimate winner that will become national representative in international pageants. • Pageants by MISS YU company have a tradition and a following among broad population of Serbia and receive national TV attention. • The central event has all characteristics of a celebrity gathering, where notable individuals from fashion industry and other spheres of public life frequently appear or even take part on the jury. • Fashion context is ideal for promotion of the Sony Ericsson product category whose main features include eye-catching design and appealing, stylish shape.

  3. Miss Serbia 2009 • During the final round of MISS SERBIA 2009 beauty pageant, held on July 6th , Sony Ericsson and mt:s used their flags, banners, roll-ups and other promotional materials to decorate the event space (Sava Center). • All invitations and posters for the event had clearly emphasized logos of Sony Ericsson and mt:s. • During the video presentations of 26 participants, Sony Ericsson and mt:s logo was used as introductory screen 50% of the time (sharing the exposure with another partner) on central screen at the event.

Incorporated in video presentation, we had a performance with 15 of the participants with Sony Ericsson phones showcasing their different capabilities – one was taking the picture, others was talking, typing SMS, listening to the music and at the end all of them said: I LOVE COMMUNICATION. • Prior and during the contest event, promotional video spots for Sony Ericsson and mt:s were shown both on LCD screens in the spot and in the prime-time TV broadcast. • The logos of Sony Ericsson and mt:s placed at the website of the contest bear active links leading to official Sony Ericsson and mt:swebsites, significantly increasing daily traffic on these sites.

  5. Miss Serbia /Miss Communications • During the selection of participants for the final round of MISS SERBIA 2009, Sony Ericsson and mt:s asked the girls to answer some questions in order to determine MISS COMMUNICATIONS 2009, the most communicative girl who got honored during the official award ceremony and jury agreed that MISS Serbia was the most communicative girl, so she was the one who also got the title of MISS COMMUNICATIONS. • During the prime-time TV coverage of MISS UNIVERSE 2009 event on Pink TV, TV Commercials for mt:s and Sony Ericsson were broadcast (4 x 25 seconds).
