  8. Gifted Education Seminar • Based on a belief system about gifted students • They are as diverse as our American population. • They are identifiable. • They require a curriculum that challenges and encourages them. • They require educators who understand them and their needs

Gifted Education Seminar • The seminar incorporates Initial Knowledge & Skill Standards for Gifted and Talented Education from the Illinois Association for Gifted Children (IAGC) and the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC). • This forty-five hour seminar provides an overview of gifted education as well as focusing on the following four major areas of gifted education.
