  2. 3 kinds of people taught Those who were actively seeking the proper way to serve God Those who thought they were serving God, but were really in error Those who were serving something entirely different than God People are the same today.

  3. 3 kinds of responses Some outright rejected the Gospel Some were skeptical about the Gospel Some readily accepted the Gospel Responses are the same today.

  41. Other churches not mentioned in book of Acts “These men who have turned the world upside down.” (Ac. 17:6)

  42. What they did not do: Establish a church headquarters Storm Rome for legislation changes Develop armies to take world by force Take on social agendas Appeal to the carnal side of man They really didn't even set out to change the world.

  43. What they did do: They simply set out to change individuals They changed them by teaching They realized they weren’t the ones doing the changing "And the hand of the Lord was with them" (Ac. 11:21)

  44. How YOU can be changed: Hear the Word (Ac. 2:22) Believe with heart (Ac. 16:31) Repent of sins (Ac. 17:30) Confess Christ before men (Ac. 8:37) Baptized in water (Ac. 22:16) Remain faithful (Ac. 2:42) Erring child of God: Repent & Pray for forgiveness (Ac. 8:22)
