  4. Test retake Policy • If you have made a low grade on a test you have a right to a retake according to Policy. • This retake will replace the current test grade only if it is better. • You are not guaranteed a passing grade on a retake. • Example: • First Attempt- 63 • Second Attempt- 73 • New Grade- 73 • Timing is everything • You will have only 4 school days to retake a test. • Retakes must be done during Morning Tutorial beginning at 7:15 AM. • Special arrangements will be made on a case by case basis.

  5. Daily work corrections policy • If you score below 70 on any daily assignment, then you are eligible to do corrections. • Corrections are to be done on a separate sheet of notebook paper and attached to the original assignment and turned in directly to Mr. Pratt. • You are to write the entire question and entire correct answer for the items you missed. • Correct Example: • 1) Who was president of the United States during the Civil War? C. Abraham Lincoln. • Incorrect Example: • 1) C. • You will have 4 days after the assignment is returned to complete corrections. • Special arrangements can be made on a case by case basis.

  6. Absent work Policy • When you are absent, you are missing valuable class time and are in danger of falling behind. • When you return to school, it is your responsibility to ask your teachers for the assignments from the previous day. • Check the “Absent Work” folder for your assignments. • If there is nothing there, ask Mr. Pratt about it.

  7. Tutorial Policy • Tutorials are a time for students to get extra help, take or retake a test, and/or to catch up. • Tutorials begin at 7:15 AM. • Make sure you arrive early to get the most out of your time. • The only day that I am not available for Tutorials is Tuesday, because of scheduled duty. • If you tell me you are going to be there, make sure your there. Failure to attend will be documented and may be reported to your parents.

  8. Tardy Policy • You are tardy when… • You are not in the classroom when the bell rings. • You can be excused if you have a note from a teacher or administrator.

  10. Leech 1 an aquatic or terrestrial annelid worm with suckers at both ends. Many species are bloodsucking parasites, 2 a person who extorts profit from or sponges on others. "they are leeches feeding off the hardworking majority“ "the welfare system is supposed to help the needy, not feed the leeches" "he's leeching off the kindness of others“ Synonyms: bloodsucker; scrounger, bottom feeder, freeloader
