Problems We Have • Thinking F,R,C,B every time we hear the word “gospel” • “gospel” always means “good news” • Ready to fight “faith only” every time we hear the word “faith” • “Faith only” rooted in Calvinism • Thinking “law of Moses” when we see word “law” (See Romans 3:19-21) • Thinking “Holy Spirit” each time we see the word “spirit”

  5. Law & Faith Contrasted • Justification by “Law” • Trust in SELF • Must keep perfectly • Justification by “Faith” • Trust in CHRIST • Means doing what He says • Luke 6:46 • Romans 1:16, 17
