  3. Military and Government • U.S. Military became stronger. • U.S. Government power became stronger. • Propaganda made fears that didn't leave after war. • Political instability and violence.

  4. Europe. • Loss of life • Damaged social systems • Damaged political systems

  5. England. • Provided shipping and insurance to world. • Costed lots of $. • Hugely indebted to the U.S. • London to New York. • Women's right to vote.

  6. France. • Loss in population • Fell behind Germany and England • Harder to sustain wartime losses. • Property damage

  7. Germany • Couldn't accept loss. • Economic collapse. • Government = fail • Social democratic party took over. • "It cannot be that two million Germans should fallen in vain........No, we do not pardon, we demand vengeance!"

  8. United States • Loss of loved ones. • Good population. • Good resources. • Increased employment. • Great profit to industry.
