  • Number of local graduates expected

  • Drop down menu of Foundation Schools

    • Menu of posts available

      • Includes: location, speciality, trust, no. positions for each job.

      • Does not include: banding, contractual information etc.

  • 2 main components

    • Academic ranking

    • Short answer questions

    • You must rank 26 foundation schools

  • References

    • Your references must be clinicians

  • Equality & diversity

    • will be used by employers to build a demographic profile of their workforce.

  • Submit

    • Confirm application is completed and all information is correct and your own work

What happens next

What happens next?

  • 5th December: Web portal closes

  • Forms must be submitted by then

  • Your form goes to your first choice foundation school

    • They mark it using nationally agreed criteria

    • Posts filled sequentially with highest scoring applicants

    • Unsuccessful applicants get passed to second choice foundation school and so on

  • Notification of foundation school 1st Feb
