  7. Letter Dear Desariee, I am so proud of you! You have improved so much over the past few weeks since you been enrolled in ESL. I love the intensity you have towards learning something new every day. You went from an immension learner to a full understanding learner. I want to make one thing clear to you; your race and ethnicity have to do nothing with what you can and can not do. Deficit Theory has no affect on you what so ever.
