  5. Biography of Elvis Presley Elvis’ birth name is Elvis Aaron Presley. His job as a solo artist is to sing and play the guitar. Elvis Presley is not currently living but he was 42 when he died. Elvis’s birthday is January 8th, 1935. Elvis was born in Tupelo, Mississippi but later moved to Memphis, Tennessee with his parents. Elvis originally had a twin brother, Jessie but he died because he was stillborn, leaving Elvis to grow up as an only child. Later in life, Elvis got married, had a daughter and was then divorced. In his lifetime, Elvis was in 33 successful films and created a total of 150 different albums and singles. Over 1.6 billion of Elvis’s albums have been sold.
