  2. In lesson 2 we learned about short vowel sounds. Today we will learn about digraphs. Diagraphs are two letters joined together to make one sound.

  12. First we will talk more about what good readers do. ? Ask Questions Good readers ask questions before, during, and after they read. I wonder how the main character got his name, The Potato Face Blind Man. I wonder how long it took him to learn to play the accordion.

  13. Make Predictions Good readers make predictions before and during reading. This means they make guesses about what they think will happen next. It is important to constantly think about what will happen next even if your last prediction didn't come true. I think that the Potato Face Blind Man will play his accordion in this story.
