  3. Properties Electrolytes conduct electricity when electrodes are placed in electrolytic solution when proper voltage is applied to it. They are bonded by ionic bond. They are known as polar molecules. They have mobile ions in solution. Conduct electricity when molten or dissolved in solution. Concentrated Solution - Electrolytes with high concentration of ions.
