Deleting Information- Removing information or details that does not support the main idea or topic of the writing and details that are repetitive ( repeats information) Example: Today we decided to clean our house. We wanted our house to be clean. Mom cleaned the windows. Sarah washed the dishes and I took out the trash. Dad cleaned the garage. Everyone worked together to get our house into shape.

  6. Why is learning how to delete information important? It helps us to become better writers. It is a skill we can use when we are revising our writing
